Look Good Feel Better

This is a layout about a program that my Mom took part in while at the cancer clinic in Kelowna BC in July 2012. Women who are fighting cancer can take part in this evening of education and beauty.  Mom was one of about 12 ladies that evening, and the volunteers provided them with a kit of all sorts of beauty products from face cream to mascara.  The education part is how to take care of your skin when it is battered by the horrible drugs they had to endure during their cancer battles, and encouraging that the patients to take time to make themselves look good which in turn helps the patient feel better.  A wonderful program and Mom had such a wonderful evening with all of the ladies.  It couldn't have been timed better either, as Mom had her 72nd birthday while there. The papers are from an old Club Scrap kit.

Animal Actors

Thanks for letting me share my blog with you today!

Today's layout was made from Club Scrap's March 2007 Rhapsody Kit.

The embellishments were all cut from the Cricut Locker Talk cartridge and I designed this layout to teach Cricut users to get a great layout from elements from this cartridge, it's not just for school photos!

This is a layout about a visit to Universal Studios Florida and to one of my favorite attractions, the Animal Actors!  These animals are so very smart and love to perform!  Recognize the pug dog as Frank from the Men In Black movie!  He was sooooo cute!

Thanks for dropping by!

Grand Turk's Margaritaville

Thanks for letting me share my blog with you today!

This week's layout is made from Club Scrap's March 2007 Rhapsody Kit.  Using up that stash stuff :)  In addition, this layout is one of the projects I designed to teach Silhouette users to create print & cut embellishments and alter files to create the parrot on the tree branch.

Grand Turk is one of our favorite cruise port stops!   Beautiful white sand beach and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is a great place to sit in some shade, enjoy a beverage by the pool and you can even surf in the man-made surf maker!  Grand Turk really is all about relaxing!

Thanks for looking!

Have a SCRAPtastic day!

Sunrise till Sunset-San Juan Puerto Rico

Thanks for letting me share this post with you!

This layout was created with Close to My Hearts Magnifique Workshop On The Go from 2010..  The Koki frog, flag, stone looking pieces and Puerto Rico name  and paradise found were all from Jolee's.   The Sunrise title was a rubon from Making Memories.  The subtitles above the photos on the right were from my stash so sorry but no info for you on that one.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
December 2, 2009, was the 3rd stop on the 1st leg of our 25th Anniversary cruise.
We have ported here many times but never tire of the beauty & history we
encounter and the warmth we Canadians are shown by the people!

Have a SCRAPtastic day!
