Grand Turk using CTMH Footloose Workshop Kit
I just finished this fun layout about our vacation in January 2011! As soon as I saw the new Close To My Heart Workshop on the go - Footloose I just knew this paper was meant for these pictures! I really love the Workshops from CTMH as they give you beautiful papers, enough to finish a few layouts, make a few cards etc. and you always get some new product to sample. In this workshop you are given the NEW Wooden Badge Buttons to play with! These awesome wooden buttons are self-adhesive and they take the dye ink beautifully! They are thin enough to not cause a lot of bulk in your scrapbook while still adding the dimension we all love. The buttons are also flat enough to allow you stamp on them, that is amazing! In the kit you will receive:
Full My Reflections Footloose Paper Packet (6 - double-sided patterned paper PLUS 6 - cardstock
A 'C' size stamp set with all things sea i.e. sea turtle, sea horse, starfish, sand dollars, fish and more
2 - Sheets of white cardstock
A full package of Wooden Badge Buttons
And a full color instruction sheet on how to complete a layout. You can also get instructions for additional projects for the Footloose WTG Kit at https://canadianpapershaper.myctmh
Featured Ink Colors: Bamboo, Sweet Leaf, Creme Brulee, Lagoon
In addition to the items that came in the kit you may want to pick up those great wooden clam shells, sand dollars, starfish etc and you can do that Here
To make those wood shapes really sparkle and shine, paint them first with Create A Shade Pearl Paint, let them dry then add the dye inks on direct from pad or with felt or sponge dauber. Just Beautiful!
One note, I used my CTMH Distressing Kit to get that beautiful distressing on all my pieces, however this Spring/Summer 2012 Catalogue will be the last opportunity for you to purchase this Distressing Tool Box loaded with all things distressing. After they are sold out you will only be able to purchase items individually. It is such a great deal so you may want to take a look at picking it up before it is too late.
Thanks for letting me share my layout with you today! If you have any questions regarding my layout, products I used etc. please feel free to leave a comment or email me.
Have a SCRAPtastic day!
