Hey Cricut Clubbers!

The older Cricut Cartridge Love Struck 2010 solutions cartridge (digital) is available to use with the free Cricut Craft Room. This is the cartridge that I used to make the newest Cricut Club Project!

Tip of the day....
Hi everyone!  I just wanted to share a little tip that I use when I'm designing a layout...I use photo "stand ins".  I typically design my layout and then print & crop my pictures to fit into my layout so I have several pieces of card stock cut into the sizes I can print my photos and I use these to judge what size photos I can fit into my layout.  Once I have figured out where my embellishments, titles, journaling and photos will go I print my photos according to the sizes of the 'stand ins' I used.  The sizes I have made my stand ins are: 8x10, 7x7. 5x7, 5x5, 3 1/2x5, 4x6, 4x4, 3x4, 2x3, 3x3, & 2x2.  Using stand in helps to avoid getting glue, ink, fingerprints etc. on my photos as the very last thing I do is remove the stand ins and lay down my photos!

Hope you find this tip helpful in your scrapping life!
Have a SCRAPtastic day!

Melitta

Hi Everyone!

Today I want to share a video with you on how I unmount my stamps and make my red rubber stamps work on my acrylic blocks.  I have been asked about this many times by many different people so I thought this would be the easiest way to share it with everyone all at one time.  If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave a comment below this post and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Have a SCRAPtastic day!

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2012! I'm praying that we will have a much less eventful year than 2011 as sometimes we were in such a tailspin I thought we wouldn't come out the other side, however the good Lord was walking beside us and often carrying us and here we are in 2012. Mom courageously fought Breast Cancer and is now cancer free! She was a real trooper and truly showed me that she is a stronger woman then I ever knew. Well onward to 2012!

Today's tip of the day -
My favorite way to store my ribbon is on spools strung on rods. When I need a piece of my favorite ribbon I simply walk over, spin down my desired length, snip if my ribbon...and then the spool just keeps on giving!!! Solution? Straight pins! Choose the fine, which are for silk/satin and will not leave a mark in the ribbon but will easily slip into the ribbon spool to stop the chaos of unruly ribbon spools!

Some exciting news...the ornament that I made and posted December 15th won the contest I entered and now I have a $25 gift certificate to spend at Cricut.com!

Quote for the day -
"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out" - Walter Winchell

I'm very blessed to have these kind of friends in my life! Have a SCRAPtastic Day!
