Cricut Circle Think Pink Challenge Entry

This is a challenge for the members of the Cricut Circle. This was the Weekly Challenge #2: THINK PINK! Use Pink, Ruffles, Scallops, Flourishes, Glitter and Jewels ( incorporate any 3 on your project) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. This is my challenge entry. I used the Seranade Cartridge for the 3 different trees, leaves & dove, Stand & Salute for the pink ribbons and Cindy Loo for the flower flourishes across the top-inside of the card. I wrote the following poem inside the card:

This year on your birthday,
I'm giving you a gift for me,
a calendar sticker for the day,
at a breast-exam you'll be.
I give this for selfish reasons,
as you mean the world to me,
I just couldn't stant to watch the seasons,
changing without you here next to me.

Happy Birthday

Poem by Melitta Ball

At the bottom of the poem there is a removeable sticker for my friend to put on their calendar to remind them of the date they are to be at their breast exam. Make sure you have your exam today, as the best protection is early detection!

Have a SCRAPtastic day!

Cricut Club is underway!

Our very first Cricut Club what held at my home on Monday night, October 4, 2010 and I think everyone had a wonderful time! My Mom & daughter did some wonderful baking and I think everyone enjoyed the projects I had ready for them to make and what a great group of ladies! I think Cricut Club is going to be a fun get together for years to come. The quarters were cramped as our house is still not finished being put back together from the flood, but that is going to be in the past, two weeks from now yea! So Cricut Clubbers...there is going to be way more room to spread out once the scrap room is finished!

Have a SCRAPtastic day!
